How should I care for my Turkish tiles?

• Dust them regularly with a soft, dry cloth.

• If needed, wipe lightly with a damp cloth and clean water only.

• Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals, as they can damage the surface or frame

How do I clean Iznik plates and wares?

• Authentic hand-painted Turkish ceramics and Iznik wares are not dishwasher safe, despite what some tourist shops might claim. Your piece should always be hand-wash only.

• Use a soft cloth and water.

• Avoid harsh scrubbing pads or strong detergents to protect the glaze and design.

What are the general handling guidelines for Turkish ceramics?

• Always handle your pieces with care. Avoid placing heavy objects on them to prevent breakage.
