As the sole creator behind my Iznik artworks, the pricing reflects several key factors:
My high prices are due to the quality of the materials and 50 hours of dedicated work just for the painting stage alone.

Additionally, some of my original designs, which I craft from scratch, command a higher price. This is because they require not only significant labor but also an extensive creative process from initial concept to final execution. Read more about my craftsmanship.

About me

I am based in Istanbul.

My journey with ceramics began when I first tried throwing pottery on the wheel at 19. However, life took a different path for a while, and after university, I spent more than a decade working in the corporate world.

Despite that, my passion for art, particularly Turkey's beautiful tile art, never faded. Read about famous Iznik Tile Art.

In every design I create, I strictly adhere to the rules and aesthetics of the Classic Age of Iznik art (16th century). My commitment lies in preserving this heritage authentically, which means I do not incorporate modern colors or contemporary designs.

Everything I produce is a conscious effort to honor and continue the tradition in its truest form. While I deeply respect all other artisans and makers for their unique contributions, my focus is specifically on the faithful continuation of this historical Iznik style.

Living in Turkey, the country steeped in layers of history, quite simply takes my breath away. Every color I encounter, every corner I turn, sparks a new creative journey within me.

However, my deepest wellspring of inspiration comes from the incredible women who surround me: my mother, my partner's mother, my master, and my friends. This work is, in many ways, a tribute to these powerful and inspiring individuals in my life. They inspire me not just to exist, but to truly live fully.

And as I live, I feel a profound desire to be part of the enduring legacy of Iznik art, to preserve its beauty and history for future generations.

Truly, the most valuable support you can offer is to follow me on social media and tell your friends and family about my work. Word-of-mouth and sharing my art with your network make a world of difference.

Beyond that, as a dedicated individual preserving this art form, I have a significant project in mind: to create a comprehensive digital archive of original classic Iznik art. This project requires a considerable investment to bring to life. If you are an art lover with the means and inclination to support such a project and safeguard this cultural heritage for the future, please reach out for the details.

Though I am a solo artisan behind this website, my dedication to my craft is unwavering, and my customers are my priority.
